THE OTHER IRAN
To the Editor: As a New York resident and New Zealand citizen who traveled to Iran last May, I read "The Other Iran" (Feb. 10) with interest. After a couple of days there, I started disclosing my New York connection, to discover that the Iranians I spoke to had not a jot of anti-American sentiment. (Some had things to say about the current president but, hey, don’t we all?)

Take advantage of Iran’s current push for more tourists. You will find a country of stunning architecture, exquisite gardens, rich culture, fascinating history and friendly people. Your remaining stereotypes will be challenged.Justine Kirby
